New online Lens Coverage and Camera Comparison tool launched

Filmmakers will welcome the addition of a new online tool, designed to give them a first indication whether camera equipment may – or may not – suit their project. CVP has developed this easy-to-use tool offering a visual representation of coverage of lenses when paired with various sensor formats as well as different cameras using the same lens. See the tool in action in the CVP Creative Experience at BSC Expo 2019 (Stand 001).

The Lens Coverage and Camera Comparison Tool offers the following information in a visual format:

• Checking whether a lens covers a sensor format
• Comparing field of view for a lens on a given sensor format
• Comparing sensor data 
• Accessing lens data 
• Seeing how to match a B camera to an A camera
