TLS thrilled after the Cinematica Expo 2024
GTC Patron TLS, would like to share what a fantastic time it had at the Cinematica Expo, held on 16 & 17 November 2024 in Telangana, India.
The event was vibrant and well-attended across both days, with Saturday being especially busy. The Tinnu/TLS booth was buzzing with activity throughout, and it was incredible to engage with such a diverse range of visitors.
Richard Grocott, TLS Director of Sales & Marketing says:
We were thrilled to connect with several talented DoPs but also some amazing cinematography students and aspiring creative professionals, the future talent within our industry. Participants from the concurrent gaming exhibition also gave us an interesting perspective on our world of creative visual arts.
A highlight of the weekend for TLS was demonstrating its lenses at the expo and on location. Gavin Whitehurst, TLS Managing Director, had the privilege of visiting Sudeep’s shoot on Saturday and meeting with the esteemed R. Rathnavelu on Sunday to showcase our lenses in action. These sessions were invaluable for building strong connections and receiving insightful feedback.

The Guild of Television Camera Professionals (GTC) is an independent craft association predominantly for professional TV, digital and film camera crew designed to support our members by facilitating excellence, education, knowledge and networking in moving image production. The GTC welcomes media professionals internationally across all moving image disciplines as members.
The International Association of Wildlife Film-makers, whose members are professional camera crew earning most of their income from making wildlife films, has been affiliated to the GTC since January 2016.
