Bright Tangerine announces Black Friday Plans

A portion of every sale throughout the period will be donated to The Redford Center charity.

GTC Patron Bright Tangerine (UK), has unveiled its plans for the Black Friday sale period, commencing on 25 November and lasting until 3 December 2024.  Throughout the sale, Bright Tangerine products will see a 20% discount sitewide – including new products such as the Canon C400 and Create range. $5 from every sale will also be donated to the Redford Center: a US-based charity focused on environmental storytelling and supporting emerging filmmakers.

Black Friday 2024

The 20% discount is available on Bright Tangerine’s online store – as well as with participating retailers.  In addition to the sale, this year’s Black Friday sale also includes a charitable donation, with a percentage of profits being put towards the Redford Center.

The Redford Center’s work specialises in environmentalism in filmmaking: promoting climate conscious films from less-established filmmakers via grants and scholarship. The nonprofit’s work has helped over 50 documentaries and features reach the public through funding and production support.

Misfit Atom Price Drop

Alongside the sitewide discount, Bright Tangerine also offers a separate discount on a single highly-popular product range. The Misfit Atom – the flagship matte box system used by filmmakers worldwide for almost ten years – is receiving a 50% discount. The offer is effective from 25 November – same as the Black Friday sales – and applies to all Misfit Atom kits.

Products Excluded from the Bright Tangerine Black Friday Sale

There are a few items not included in the Black Friday sale. The Prodigy range of Air Deflectors and their respective kits will not be part of the sale, nor will the Revolvr range of
Follow-Focus products. Ex-demo, custom or spare products will also be excluded from the sale. All orders over $50 made on the website between 25 November and 3 December 2024 will result in a $5 donation.
