New IDX SBU-PD Battery range adds USB PD In/Out

The SBU range from GTC Sponsor, IDX is now further enhanced with the arrival of the SBU-PD range. 

Now the new SBU-PD range adds USB PD In/Out on a USB C connector, offering outputs up to 45W with the SB-U98/PD (30W with the SB-U50/PD) giving the user the ability to power a vast range of equipment.

USB Output Voltages 

The USB-PD socket can also be used to charge the battery with one of two chargers available from IDX as well as conventional BPU Style chargers.

These chargers not only offer a fast low-cost solution but are extremely compact helping to reduce both the weight and size of the kit bags.

For compatibility to non-USB products there is also a D-Tap output offering a maximum Output of 70W with the SB-U98/PD (35W with SB-U50/PD).

UC-PD2

This compact lightweight charger offers a very fast charge to two batteries via the USB-C PD sockets. Compatible with both the DUO-CP Range and the SBU-PD Range of IDX batteries.
