KOKUSAI DENKI is the new name for the very old and well-established company that manufactured “HITACHI” Cameras. The company used to be “Hitachi Kokusai Electric” and is now “KOKUSAI DENKI Electric” (which means International Electric in Japanese). This is actually a return to the name the company used when it was first established in Japan in 1949. 20% of the company is still owned by Hitachi Ltd., but the majority 80% share is now all owned by Nisshinbo Group – another large Japanese industrial company which owns a variety of other technology companies.
Apart from the new name, the company’s Product range, R&D teams, Factories (everything is made in Japan), Support Engineers and staff worldwide remain the same. In Europe, the Head Office is near Frankfurt, Germany with a UK Office too. In addition to its Broadcast Cameras the company also manufactures Industrial / machine vision cameras, surveillance cameras, on-board CCTV Systems for trains and Terrestrial TV Transmitters.
The Broadcast camera range includes:

Simultaneous HDR and SDR operation is possible and ST2110 Remote Production options are available. A version with Integrated Wireless system is available.
- The DK-H700E is an HD/4K box-type camera with the same sensors, optical block and signal processing for POV, remote pan-tilt systems etc.
