GTC Patron FUJIFILM announces the broadcast zoom lens “FUJINON UA22x4.8BERD”, a versatile broadcast zoom lens in a portable form factor, that offers a wide zoom range. Initial shipments of the UA22x4.8 are expected to begin at the end of March 2026.
- Lightweight and compact design measuring 251mm and weighing 2.17kg, this lens features a wide angle of 4.8mm and a high zoom magnification factor of 22x
- Excellent for a variety of shooting scenarios such as remote news gathering, studio production, and sports broadcasting
UA22x4.8 is a portable zoom lens for 2/3-inch broadcast cameras, covering a full range of 4.8-106mm in a compact and lightweight body measuring 251mm and weighing 2.17kg. This lens provides the versatility to work effectively in a variety of situations, such as remote news gathering, where portability is crucial, and sports broadcasting, where camera operators can be flexible in capturing all the exciting moments and different perspectives of a game, from wherever they are around the field of play.
The newly developed “UA22x4.8” shares many of the features of the “UA18x5.5”, such as its compact body, lightweight design, and versatile zoom range.
The newly released “FUJINON UA22x4.8” will be showcased at NAB Show 2026, held in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, April 19-21, 2026.

Fujifilm announces development of “FUJINON UA30x7.3BERD” & ”FUJINON UA16x4BERD” 4K Broadcast Zoom Lenses

The broadcast zoom lens “FUJINON UA30x7.3BERD” delivers the best-in-class 30x zoom range covering 7.3-219mm, and “FUJINON UA16x4BERD” delivers a class-leading wide-angle range of 4-64mm while also achieving best-in-class 16x zoom range.
These newly developed lenses each cover a wide range of focal lengths in a single unit, providing a reliable option for capturing moments with intentional creative composition in a variety of settings, such as sports, live events, or studio production.
The “UA30x7.3” and “UA16x4” are due to be released in Spring of 2027.

Fujifilm Develops 4K Broadcast Zoom Lens “FUJINON UA94x8.7BESM”

UA94x8.7 is a box-type zoom lens designed for 2/3-inch sensor broadcast cameras, covering a full zoom range of 8.7-818mm. It is a great option for a wide variety of applications, including sports, large-scale events, and concerts. This lens enables flexibility in visual expression, from wide-angle establishing shots that capture the atmosphere of a packed venue to immersive close-up shots that bring subjects into clear focus with rich detail.
The “UA94×8.7” is equipped with a proprietary image stabilization technology that offers superior operability while controlling zoom and focus, which is a technology that has been cultivated throughout our high-end models. This all contributes to ensuring camera operators can be as efficient as possible in composing an image for smooth operation during a production.
The “UA94x8.7BESM” is due to be released in Autumn of 2026.
Fujifilm plans to showcase these lenses at NAB Show 2026, held in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA from April 19-22, 2026.
