GTC Patron TLS (True Lens Services) knows how important it is to get a clear sense of how a lens performs with different camera set-ups. With this in mind, it built the TLS Lens Coverage Tool, a simple, interactive way to explore lens coverage across a variety of sensors.
With this tool, you can:
- Compare lens coverage across different camera set-ups
- View the image circle for each focal length at different T-stops and focus distances
- Easily check whether your chosen lens fully covers your format
It’s designed to give you useful insight quickly, helping you plan shoots with confidence and make informed decisions.
How it works:
Step 1
Access the Tool
Go to the Knowledge Centre section and open the TLS Lens Coverage Tool.
Step 2
Select a Lens
View the image circle for each focal length at different T-stops and focus distances.
Step 3
Select your Camera Setup
Choose a camera brand, model, and shooting format. You can also see how the image circle adapts when scaling is applied.
Step 4
Check Coverage
Easily see whether the lens fully covers your selected camera sensor.
