As Project Spark returns for another year, GTC Sponsors NANLITE and NANLUX offer another amazing opportunity for next-generation image makers to bring their creative spark to the screen. Assistance will be given in origination, shooting and post-production to help bring the successful project to the public.
Submission
28 February – 18 April 2026
Documents Required for Submission:
- Inspiration for the work (within 200 words)
- Description of story (within 100 words)
- Script outline (300-2000 words)
- No less than 10 references from video moodboard
- Applicant’s previous works
The six selected teams in the Global section will each receive:
- A USD 15,000 production budget provided by Nanguang
- Up to USD 5,000 in equipment rental support
- Industry experts as advisors, guiding and assisting throughout the project

There will be 6 selected teams, 4 from Narrative shorts, and 2 from Experimental
shorts. Selected teams will be announced on May 31.
